Attire?

Please dress formally. Black tie is not necessary, but if you want to go for it you have our unwavering support.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Our reception cocktail hour is slated to be outdoors by the water (weather permitting), so we recommend bringing a shawl in case it is slightly chilly. The temperature in CT in early May can range anywhere from 50-75°, so please do check the forecast before you leave! The ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your kids we’ve chosen to have a child-free wedding, excepting our immediate nieces and nephews.

If you need assistance finding a sitter for your child(ren) on the night of the wedding, please reach out to your hotel or to Maria for help.

What time will the shuttle pick up at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich?

Pick-up will be at 3:45p ET at the back (self parking lot) hotel entrance. The ceremony is a 10-15-minute drive away and will start at 4:15p ET.

Can I take the shuttle if I am not staying at the Hyatt Regency?

Yes. The shuttle will run from the ceremony at Christ Church to the reception, as well as back to the Hyatt Regency and then the Christ Church parking lot following the reception (e.g. should you wish to leave your car at the Christ Church parking lot during the reception or Lyft/Uber/Taxi from the Hyatt Regency to your final destination at the end of the night).

If I need to get around Greenwich can I do so without a car?

It is a bit challenging, but possible. If you are traveling from New York or elsewhere and will not have access to a car, Ubers/Lyfts/Taxis are available. We recommend allocating a few extra minutes for their arrival, particularly during non-rush-hour times, as drivers are not as numerous as in major cities.
